diffusing C02

Issue: If the penguin filter is on the tank you're injecting with CO2, you're going to waste a lot of CO2 by letting it offgas via the biowheel.

ah okay ill remove the bio wheel then, I've been doing some research on diffusing c02 and i came across this

What type of CO2 are you injecting, DIY or pressurized? Methods for diffusion will vary depending on how much pressure you achieve, but I agree that going through a HOB essentially defeats the purpose.

i am injecting pressurized, i use the fluval ceramic diffuser (http://www.valuepetsupplies.com/flu...kw={keyword}&gclid=CPzPhs-GwrkCFSdk7Aode0wAjQ ) i am just annoyed by the tiny bubbles from the diffuser, may tank looks like a soda sprite exploded inside

So install the diffuser low in the tank and behind some decor. It'll at least minimize the visibility of the bubbles.

I got my best result from a DIY reactor. I got the design from Rex Griggs' site...very easy to build with off-the-shelf parts from Lowes. I had the reactor in the return line of a Magnum.
