That membrane is a Cole Parmer product, from their catalog, online. I don't have the number handy, but you could probably ferret it out over at AA (searching DIY drop checker Cole-Parmer).
Actually, I wouldn't suggest using it in the pictured configuration as it isn't that fast, just because the surface area is small - if you could rig up something similar with a much larger opening... and still make it water tight, you'd be onto something.
