Thinking of getting a Dwarf Cockatoo, what can you keep them with? Is it like keeping GBRs?

GBR's like it a bit warmer than most apistos. Cacatuoides are probably one of the easiest of the group to find, and also relatively easy to breed. Good luck sourcing them locally David.

Keep several females per male, as these are harem breeders. GBRs tend to be pair breeders and need only one female per male.

For some reason, I do not see females for sale.
Same when I was trying to get a Gold ram female.
The LFS just get the males, must be an easier sell because of the features.

Not cheap, the red at LiveAquaria.com are at $60/pair, the orange are at $50/pair, I have seen them before in the LFS for $12 each.
