Have a 10 gallon planted shrimp tank with this substrate. Noticed a lot of little white worms on the glass (nematodes or planaria, perhaps), cyclops, and other mystery free-swimming critters. Maybe some sort of rotifer.
Anyway, I added some mollie fry and within a few hours, the majority of the worms were gone.
Just wondering if this was your experience with this substrate. I admit I was probably a little over-enthusiastic with the feeding initially, but have scaled back. I wasn't sure if these hitchhikers came with the plants I've acquired or the eco-complete.
