Well....1 - 1....have to say the score pretty much matches the game...Pretty even between both teams in that game...

Well, there are 4 teams in each of the 8 groups....each team play each other...the winner and runner up of each group go through to the next round after all the group games have been played...

Yes, I know that part but I didn't get if they kept tying how does it work? Had a couple guys in today who explained the whole "point" system thing....now I get it. I didn't know about the point thing before. they said it was 1 point for each who tie, then 2 for those who win whoever has the most points in each group go on. Right?

So now we had Mexico/South Africa end in tie, USA/England end in tie...so they each have 1 point at this time right? Not sure who won the other games played but they would have more points right?

Yep.

There are 4 teams per group with 8 groups. Each team will play each other team within their respective group once (round robin format). A win is two points and a tie is one point. The top two teams from each group will advance to a bracketed elimination stage where if you lose you go home. The winners of each group play one of the runner ups of another group.

( Not yet, they each have to play eachother. Then the top two from each group will go through to the second round. All of group one have one point, because both games were a draw. You get 1 point for a draw, 3 points for a win)
