I think that if you really figure ini my portion of hte electric bill, the internet, my cell phone (for business), the gas mileage, tolls, and labor- I LOSE money But, I love it! So its ok

well for me, 3 tanks set up ( two 55s one 75 ) my bill doesnt go over 40 bucks a month ( elec bill ) normally around 30 to 35 a month. but i may add a few more soon, dont know, but love your fish basement!

You could probably make it more profitable by selling and breeding more high value fish (blood red swordtails, EBJDs, rare angelfish, etc.) but I love how you just stock what interests you. That's how I would do it too - I imagine it helps with burnout, also!
