I am currently setting up a 90 gal Tropheus tank. Currently I have an Eheim 2215 and a spare Magnum 350 that I may also use to polish the water. I wish to have more filtration and have read that fluidized bed filters are very efficient filters. I was going to go the route of DIY but in my local classifieds there is a Rainbow Lifegard FBF for sale for $60 (~ $40 USD). It states that it is the model that is good or up to 900 gallons although I have read that FBF's have a relatively low flow rate. So, my question is... Is this WAY to overkill or would it be ok? I have always been an advocate of over-filtering tanks but maybe this would just be going to far!

Also, any additional info on this filter would be appreciated. Has anyone used these filters before? How big are they?
