I am going to change my vote to Geophagus abalios. The lateral spot is below the lateral line which is a characteristic of abalios. In G. pindare the lateral line bisects the lateral spot.

The caudal fin is more spotted than striped but that isn't really a good characteristic of these species as there can be a lot of variation. What throws me off is the body length relative to the head. G. abalios is generally more elongate than G. pindare. But I think that may be just the camera angle that makes it look that way.
