Looks like my females, the males don't show the same pattern of stripes. I have 6 in a 38, I've seen several spawns but no fry yet. They seem to disappear soon after they become wigglers.

We seem to have the same problem with ours.. All of a sudden, the male started eating fry. Now there's just a few watuaga saved in a bag, but the male is trying to eat them through the bag... Any suggestions?

Not your failure, just a common occurence with young cichlids when they spawn. They do tend to improve with practice. Not necessarily a bad thing anyway; if all the fry from each spawn survived, they'd overcrowd the tank very quickly.
