My tank is beginning to get overgrown, and it is in desperate need of a trimming. Specifically, how do you trim Vallsneria and chain swords? Do you just cut straight across the tops? Also, will the plants grow back?

From what I've read, Val's are quite forgiving with trimming. Most people cut the leaves at an angle at what ever height they want, and the leaf will repair itself and be just fine. Not sure about CS, maybe try googling it.
