Looks good to me. With the low clearance between those baffles, be sure to not blast water through the sump. I don't think you'll have that issue, though.

thanks guys...

um as for a stocking list...
cant give you one right now..
i havent researched on any livestock to be honest.. been focusing on getting a good setup!!

give me a few days to have a look and get some research done and ill put a rough idea up..

i definately want two percula clowns, and i like bubbly corals, and corals that move and sway in the flow...

so yeah..

past few days have put a lot of work together...
ive put the tank back on the stand and clean it all up...

so.. i have done..
changed sump setup..
resiliconed baffles/sump
siliconed bulkheads into oveflow...
cleaned the sand and tank...
and currently im about to glue the plumbing...

here are some picture of now...

ive tried a little aquascaping with the sand haha...
you'll see the design when everything is in..

bulkheads, rough job but it works..

hope it all looks good..
and you enjoy it...

heres a question..
im about to build an auto top off system...
now for this to work do i need to have the float switch in the return chamber?
if so i spose the bucket of water will need to go next to the return..

i was thinking of having it here where the chemicals are...
but i suppose i will need to move it to the otherside right and shift the tank along?

let me know your thoughts...
enjoy..
cheers guys

Ack!! Siliconing the bulkheads is a very bad idea. Every person, including myself, who have made that mistake had to learn the hard way why that was such a bad idea.. leaks, removal, cleanup, and installing new bulkheads after cleaning off every last bit of silicone in order to make a good seal is a nightmare.

hmm... thats a pain in the ***...
ive already siliconed them in...

how much leakage will there be?
sitting right underneth them where the leakage will be is going to
be the auto top off system and the sump..

the guy that had the tank before had these bulkheads siliconed into place
and he ''says'' there was no leakage...
i managed to scrape most of the silicone off but the space is
so small that i cant even get my forearm down half way

i had to get my little brother to do it for me..

is there any chance that ive done a really good job with
the siliconing that there wont be any leaks?

god this is frustrating!!

thanks for the pickup anyway guys

That's all you can do at this point. I almost said to use tapwater instead of RO water, but you've already got sand in there.

i was only going to fill the overflow?

because that all the preesure its going to have so?
not really a need to fill the whole tank i dont think?
i spose i could use tap water and then just drain it?

Oh, then just use tapwater ;). Don't waste RO on just trying to test the overflow. It won't hurt anything to use tap for that.
