Ideas on catching a fish?

I use a small piece of dynamite. The fish floats on the surface for a while that gives me time to scoop it up. ......kidding .

No but seriously +1 to the bottle trap. I needed to catch a damsel and caught my wrasse and potter's angel along with it by accident.

+1 on the bottle traps or better yet, multiple bottle traps for the night and pull out the caught dottyback!
