Right now I'm leaning towards a planted tank with soft water fish, hopefully an Amazonian biotope. I'll have to see what species I can find available here in Fayetteville, AR. We only have 2 LFS's left here (there used to be many more years ago) that are non-chain stores and they are in really sad shape. It's like the people who own them and work there just don't care about the tanks anymore. Both of the big chain pet stores were actually in great shape when we visited, very clean and organized and the fish seemed to be in good shape as well. That does not seem right...does it?
We lived in Florida for 11 years and now I really do miss all of the wonderful LFS's we had in Southern Florida. There were so many shops to visit and most of them actually cared about this hobby and had good advice, too.
