I haven't done meds at all except for some Aqurisol as a precaution and enough salt dosage for ICH treatment and my guys are doing fine and the black spots are slowly fading out.

Since digenetic ***es do not reproduce in semi-closed captive environments and direct fish-to-fish transmission is impossible for these critters, IMHO you are risking your fish to toxicity from both the meds and from the death of any encysted larvae (black spots) for no reason whatsoever. NIMFT.
I don't really understand what you're saying here. You gave me some advice a few months ago, so I listened to it, and my fish ended up getting much worse. I've moved on from there since. I 've searched for and have found a few more answers. I now believe that there is more than 1 form of black spot disease. Maybe the black spot you described with the bird and snail exists somewhere, but it's not the parasite that I'm dealing with in my tanks.

Here's some literature on this form of black spot disease that I've found-

http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/compldiagnodisease/a/aa041701.htm
http://www.wonbrothers.com/product/DrAqua/parasitic_diseases.htm

In this page it mentions that there are over 30 parasites that can cause the black spots. -

I certainly don't believe everything I read these days, so I'm not sure what to think of it.

Anyways, I wish this was not in my fish tanks.

Are you trying to say that FW black spot and SW balckspot are the same disease? Yup, sure. I though that you were treating loaches, which are FW fish.
RTR, Yes, they are clown loaches.

As far as I know, maybe fw and sw black spot is the same. Whatever it is that my fish have, it does resemble sw black spot. Is this impossible because I have a freshwater tank? I don't know. Please educate me if you know better. Right now, I'm just trying to do everything I know of to document this case so that maybe it can help others. There really isn't much information on this disease anywhere that I know of. Just a few blogs or paragraphs written, but nothing really definitive.

I'd like to know as much as I could about Black Spot disease. If you know more, could you please write a more detailed description of this disease. Have you experienced this disease 1st hand?
Also, where, when, and how did you learn about this disease (Books,Journals, School, Research)? Explain to me how black spot was studied? How it was prooven that there is a bird and snail involved with this disease? Is there a recent documented study about this that I can read? Is there a good book that I can buy? I'd really like to know more if you can provide me with the infomation.

All I want is what's best for my fish. All the knowledge you could share is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
