isn't it nice to finally reach a nice balance in the hobby?

Actually this is a refreshing topic as I can honestly say that I have reached a balance in both tank maintenance (healthy fish with very little maintenance) and also number and sizes of tanks (244, 210, 160, 145, 125, 100, 2-80's, 2-60's). As far as inside my home I feel I have reached a great balance and almost satisfied with the number and types of fish. Also having achieved a complete nitrification and de-nitrification cycle in all my tanks, water changes are far and few between and mostly tied to TDS accumulation due to dehydration.

In my limited years of fish-keeping I have never said to myself, "My aquarium is exactly how I want it" because that's what keeps it fun and interesting. I have 10+ major changes I would love to do to my 55g but things like money, my better half, and time prevent these changes from happening and I wouldn't have it any other way. To me, the fun in keeping an aquarium is the challenge of having a broad vision and overcoming the obstacles that get in the way. If everything was perfect, we would never learn from our mistakes.
