DONT DO THE RED WIGGLERS FROM PETSMART. TOO RISKY FOR INTRODUCING THE EEBY JEEBIES TO YA TANK. GO GET SOME GUPPIES AND PUT THEM IN ANOTHER TANK AND LET THEM BREED FOR A MONTH OR SO. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR OWN FOOD THAT IS DISEASE FREE. TOO MANY TIMES I SEE THE WIGGLERS OR GOLDFISH COME INFECTED AND NOT TO MENTION THEY DONT TAKE THE GREATEST CARE OF THOSE HIGH TURNOVER FISH.
Red wigglers are little earthworms. They're not fish (I think you're thinking rosy reds). If I go with live fish I've got a breeding pair of cutteri, a colony of maleri island peacocks, and some endlers to provide fry.

I buy my nightcrawlers from Walmart. They have a smaller size now too called Panfish worms or something...can't remember what they call them actually but they're smaller and a lot more wiggly. Nice Jag btw.
Yeah I like the night crawlers too but they don't last long.

Not sure which is better nutrition wise, but panfish worms or trout worms have lasted longer than nightcrawlers while fishing. Most of my nightcrawlers are dead with a few days. I get mine a ****'s, although I'm sure they're cheaper at Wal-Mart.
