I'm just curious. I plan on going out and getting some liquid ferts for my plants, but before I even research which ones to pick up I was wondering what role Carbon would play in sucking them right out of the water?
I know carbon absorbs things in the water, does that include liquid fertilizer? Can you only have one or the other going on in a tank? Are root tabs better?
I mostly have java fern and java Moss and although they don't need it I still wanted to provide some sort of nutrients, especially to the fern.
