I didn't know where to put this topic but since i'm sure these are invertabrates.

There are these little white dots swimming in my tank and they're too small to take a picture of them does does any know what they are? and they don't look like worms.

I have them too, all over my glass where they seem to be feasting on algae. It only happens in my tanks with air filtration only. They are as small as a comma (,) and even a standard magnifying glass won't help me to see them better. Good luck finding out what it is! They are harmless, but annoying...cleaning the glass is all that controls them in my case.

That's a great website, but none of those match what I'm seeing!

Edit: From reading other posts here, seems they are very common in invert tanks....which is what my air powered tanks all are :)

Copepods by the sound of it. Perfectly harmless.

I have ostracods in my unfiltered tanks and they vary in color from white to slightly green. They're fun to watch with a magnifying glass :)
