*** If you haven't signed up yet, but would like to play, please contact me. The plan is to start the game on Sunday 2/27, and there's always the possibility that someone will drop out before then. Should someone drop out, folks on the waiting list will get first dibs at playing.***

A few things:
We're looking at a Sunday, 2/27 start. Originally, I was considering moving it up to Sunday, 2/20, but am now hesitant to do so due to the recent updates on the site. If some of the old-timers remember, there was a game a couple of years back that had to be cancelled mid-game when many of the game posts went missing during a site update taking place at the same time. My guess is that they still may be tweaking things for the next week or so (assuming that they have TTA's permission to do so ), and I'd rather have the update completely over and done before starting the game.
I originally said that I'd post all of the rules by today. I lied, but I'll get to it as soon as I can. Basically, it'll be the standard rules with the following exception: A tied lynch vote will result in NO LYNCH. Unfortunately, due to the hard economic times, Bala has lost all of his money, and therefore has no coins to flip.
With 20 players, I plan to add another Mafia goon to the mix for 15 town vs. 5 scum. I'll also add another Mason to the town's side. If folks would rather a different pro-town PR added (instead of the extra mason) feel free to comment in this thread (or via PM) and I will consider it.
Additionally, I am considering making one of the Goons a second snoop, whereby the investigative power would shift to them should the original snoop be lynched. This role would be pre-assigned to one of the Goons only, and should they die before the snoop, the role would not be passed on, if the snoop were to be lynched. Thoughts?
The current plan is to forward everyone their roles and alternate IDs on the Friday or Saturday before the game starts. This will allow players ample time to pick avatars if desired, change sigs, etc. . Please do not change the passwords, though. Nobody will snoop on you. We need to keep track of the passwords so that these alternate IDs can be reused.
It's going to seem like a long 13 days before game start, especially with 16 anonymous players unable to post in the thread. Hopefully the withdrawal will have everyone ready to contribute when "Game On!" is posted.
Thanks for your patience, and please stay tuned to this thread for any updates.
