I can understand not really having a good method for voting on day one due to usually worthless banter (which this game has had plenty). However you say your criteria for day one vote is "who annoys you the most" then you go on to say that lab rat has your vote because because she was skimming and then saying others are skimming. You can be the idiot of the town.... I don't want the job anymore, to much bad rep.
I did not, I was not saying an early vote is bad, I was saying that I prefer to wait until there is a good choice for a vote. On day one, that comes down to "who annoys me the most" unless something evil or scummy comes up. Which reminds me: I vote to lynch Lab_Rat for twisting words and skimming posts while saying others are skimming. Best I've got besides Rich not liking fish and LBR eating to much food. Mind you, my vote can always change if something else comes up.
Why don't you post some proof (or what you interpreted as skimming) of lab rat skimming along with your vote since you are not going off your usual day one criteria?
If you don't make sense then you're no good to the town. This game is all about figuring out who has what role and eliminating the evil scum. Posting nonsense to distract the town is not helpful, it is scummy.
How did you go from posting nonsense is distracting to the town and scummy; to nonsense about soup night and what constitutes a veggie? However I do agree about bad behavior, with some people even a simple "secret" like their role causes them to do and let slip stupid comments which shed light on their guilty conscience about the secret.Soup night is fun. We sit around and talk and drink wine or beer. Some time in there we eat. Everyone brings something. It's a nice way to end a Monday.
As far as how would I know that? History has shown us that FF, UN, and the like will do utterly stupid things to get themselves lynched regardless of their role. It tells us absolutely nothing and I'm not willing to give them a pass for any bad behavior. Unfortunately it makes it difficult to know whether we're wasting time on an innocent who just wants attention or whether they are leaving scum tells.
This post really bothered me. From prior game experience Kashta was always the most meticulous when it came to laying out a strategy in posting. Perhaps strategy isn't the best word, but Kashta rarely posted something or pulled comments that had little bearing on anything without a comment or reason behind it. It seemed to me that this post was way out of character for her. She pulls posts from nearly every player and then says what amounts to a one line quip about each post. Not liking that remark. For someone who likes posting and can't resist bantering, it's an odd comment (or even joke) coming from Fishfriend.
That cracked me up!
Made me wish Zsand was around to get this going.
Wait, there's a group for that?? What on earth would you all do, sit around not watching the pots boil?
Green.
Find and kill scum.
How exactly would you know that, Labby? Wouldn't it also be likely they'd get a kick out of implying they're evil...... when they really are? That joke would be on us then for thinking they're just kidding.
Wouldn't it?
LMAO. See?
Gee, Wizard. I didn't get a sidekick! Did anyone else get a sidekick?
Here's a tip, LBF. Ask FF to post how well THAT strategy has worked for him in these games. If I remember FF's first game correctly, it really was his goal to confuse everyone.
I got the impression that this was a post to make it look as though she was examining each player and beating the bushes while in fact she was just trying to stay out of the spot light day one to see if an innocent gets lynched who she can fire at. Maybe I just have too many expectations for Kashta's input and analysis to have a reason behind it.
I would think that both LBF's postings and your postings would be slips if it weren't the fact that no one should be communicating outside of the thread at this point. I did find it odd however that you distanced yourself and then related to LBF with the second part of the post. Could it be that "trying to bring an innocent down with you" is actually accidentally drag an extra scum along?holy smokes, if I wasn't DD, I would totally think that was a slip.... LOL
so, LBF... could it be because you were the first one questioned, you felt a little panicked and tried to bring an innocent down with you? I think I did that in game 2...
You never want to keep to your own little world if you're innocent. The point of this game is to comment and question then use that information to determine who is scum. If you're keeping to your own little world it certainly doesn't help the town figure out anything. The only reason to keep to your own little world is if you're nervous you're going to let something slip and if that is the case you're scum.ill keep to my own little world LOL
I vote to lynch Kashta
Her post seems to me to be too much of a I'm here don't pay attention to me posting instead of the meticulous analysis I am used to from her.
