Funny you say that... you know how oscar sulk when you move them most of the time and they don;t eat for a while... It's never once happened in this tank... :dance:I've read through this thread before, but now I've subscribed to it. I can't wait to see this up and running!
Amazing work. Really admirable thing to be doing, rescuing monster fish. I bet the fish will think they've won the lottery when they move in.
Actually... I don't know... But when it's finished I plan to go through and watch all the videos and make my best guess... At the moment I'm thinking I've got about 8hrs of work to do before I can test fill, and a nother three or four hours before the filtration gets a dry run (no media) After that it'll be running the heat lines, which shouldn't be a big deal at all since everything for it is in place and I've already test run it... It's just a matter of running the pipe... Then the fun stuff will start... Decorating the tank (and timing how long it takes to drain) :eek3:I can't wait to see this thing completed! How many hours do you anticipate start to finish?
Another thing I'm thinking of doing is a bunch of statistics on the tank and everything involved when it's all said and done... Like how much time it took, how much money, materials and such... You think people would be interested in seeing something like that?
