Use what you have on hand, man! If it doesn't look the way you want after a while (it takes a few months to really get lush), THEN shell out some money on a different type. That's the frugal approach anyway. I did the same thing with my moss tree... I wanted willow moss, but I had java moss, so guess what's in the tree
