Thanks for the suggestions. Its hard to see because of the moss but that piece of DW does take up quite a bit of space on the left side. Maybe if I move it over? What size rocks and where would you suggest putting them?
I did have the heater behind the hornwort but I think it was too warm because the hornwort was melting. I moved it out and things are fine now. Might try hiding it behind the wisteria once it gets a bit bigger.
I don't do anything special to hold the hornwort in, just push it in the sand and it stays pretty good. The filter outlet is just to the left of the hornwort and pointing towards the left so there is not a whole lot of water movement through the hornwort which I'm sure helps hold it in place.
