Wow he is gorgeous and yes I too have a betta weakness. I am very saddenned this week just lost a betta I had almost 4 1/2 years he died last Sat after trying so hard to help him. Is hard when they exhibit no external disease. I am thinking SBD and that's with fasting him once a week but he showed no signs of bloating nothing. Could have been old age. I just got another betta a few days ago too. Good luck with him the turquoise color is really pretty. Your grandma's betta is nice looking too!
