Bump..... 4 years later.
I went from planted community to bare bottom aggressive.
This is where I'm at now. Just finished planting it. I still need to complete the auto mister and get the canopy back on, a few months to grow in and its ready for some P. terribilis.

what are you planing on keeping in there? darts? or something else?

varry nice and i know the ones youre talking about should be really cool to see once you have it set up all the way, you've picked up all the micro fauna youre going to need right? i know thay are going to be easier to feed then other darts because of there size but i would defiantly have a culture or two of fruit flying going so that you gain the experience of raising them and are ready when you get the frogs. aslo seeding the tank with spring tails now will let them establish in the tank before any frogs are put in.
btw not a frog person mostly deal with geckos but everything i've learned out naturalistic tanks has come from the dart community

I haven't seeded my tanks yet because I plant to CO2 bomb it. I will be seeding it with all the varieties of springtail and isopods I can get my hands on. I'm in no rush for frogs yet. Just letting the tank grow in for now.
