Put some plants in that (anacharis) and you will eventually find your pup drinking from it all the time (heh-heh).

Nice start on the pond but may I suggest you build a fence out of Plexiglass. I built a pond awhile back and had 2 red ear sliders in it so I built a fence out of wood and plexiglass that went 1.5 feet underground and 2.5 foot above ground. Basically it was plexiglass in a wood frame that I buried. I went 1.5 foot down because that is about as far as I figured my turtles would be able to dig because it turned to pretty hard clay any further. The fence was about 3 feet away from the edges of the pond so I could create a natural enviroment for them.

I have 2 weiner dogs. One is 17yrs old and the other is 7 yrs old. The 17 yr old one is very happy and doing very well for her age. But I am prepared for the time when she will pass.
