Do they live underwater all the time or do they need to be able to get out of the water? They look awesome though.
Those are pretty cool! Can you give us specs on them, how big they grow, what they eat, etc.? Where did you purchase them?
Yes, they live underwater all the time like saltwater hermits.
They are detrivores/scavengers and I cant find a lot of info on the web, but I do know this. They come from freshwater rejuvenated pools that are flooded with sea water twice daily. These have been living in pure freshwater for 3+ months already and were supposedly collected from a freshwater source. I believe full adult size is similar to blue leg hermits.
I purchased these from a seller on Monster Fish Keepers. They are super rare in the hobby here in the USA.
