Thanks X. No, the turf algae is a short leaf, fuzz. Almost impossible to scrape off and my tangs pick at it constantly with little result. Only thing that's even touched it are my urchins and Mexican Turbos. I think it's a direct result of my lack of skills,lol. Other folks don't have this stuff and I just can't figure out how to rid myself of it. I'll just keep plugging away with the bacter7/vodka and continue on with my water changes. I enjoy it anyway, even with the algaes.
