Yes, I think you could do one in a 30. They can be ich magnets as well so keep an eye on it.

Just sold some of my car stereo equipment. I think I'm gonna order the filter, heater and power head(s) today. Live rock will come next week.

If it's not pool filter sand, dump it back into a bucket & rinse it thoroughly before using it in the tank.

Well...got more stuff than I was expecting today.

What I bought:
-Penguin 200B Power filter
-Visi-Therm Stealth 150w heater
-Penguin 1140 power head
-A test kit for ammonia, pH, nitrite and nitrate.
-Deep Six hydrometer
-Thermometer

I just need to get paid next week for the live rock...then I start my cycle

Got all of my stuff today. I should be filling it up for the first time within the next few days and getting the live rock too. I'm so excited.

I remember the day i stated my first marine aquarium it was just a 10gal to stat out. But then i whanted a bigger on so i have a 55gal. I got 8 frags and after checking out some reefs people have im starting to save for a 150 - 200 gal but thats going to take some time.
