nice severums, i have a gold severum its 2 inches rightnow, how long does it take for it to grow its full size

think they should reach about 6-7 inches in a year

I agree that red onw is stuning. Maybe its a newer stain in the east because I have never seen them in the US. I would love to find one though. I used to have a gold and green severum and they where quite pretty. Not the most personable of cichlids imo but they had some beautiful colors.

Very nice fish! Severums are one of my favorite cichlids....one of the best cichlid parents, too, once they get the hang of it after a couple of spawns. I've bred the greens and golds in the past. I'm growing out some quarter size Rottkeil Severums to breed at the moment.
