Perhaps one of the side tables could be unattached, to allow easy access to under the tank? Also what is the useable height in the filter compartment under the tank? Have you decided on a specific filter? If not you probably should right now, and execute your plan accordingly. It would really suck to get it finished and have issues with working height.
