Well I've been working on a pool pump ( I know it's not a fist tank but...). There was a thread here from a person that I can't find who had made a DIY canister filter and had used pvc connectors and alot of silicone to seal them to the 5 gallon bucket. The information was offered here on a different style of connectors that would make a better seal to the canister than the PVC and silicone. I am using a 35 gallon plastic container and with 1.5" inputs and outputs. Does anyone remember or know of different adapters that I can used that will have a good seal. I had considered tank bulkheads but I think the ones that were mentioned may be better. Thanks in advance for any info.
