Good luck with the ich. I've just had the most horrendous experience with it myself. Hopefully you've caught it early enough to help. My beautiful betta girl is currently losing her battle with it. It came in on a plant from a (previously) well-trusted lfs, even though the plant was washed and soaked prior to being added to the tank. I've never had it so badly before that the heat and salt and extra airstone treatment didn't help, but this time I guess my luck has run out. Good for you for helping that little guy out and giving him the best chance he could get!
