I had an adjustable one a few years ago, and it was the worst thing I ever bought. It was supposed to rotate 180 degrees and you were supposed to be able to control the flow. It never worked right, and ended up just blowing full blast in one direction. They may have a better one out there now.

and roscoe...do you have issues with keeping them in tank or are they fine?
Nah the one I have has a suction cup/magnet combination. Been in place nearly a year with no problem. I positioned the flow to continue the circular current along with my fluval 305. Good luck.

A couple Aqua Clear PHs are adjustable, I have 1 but never change it. Koralias sound nice with a more diffused flow instead of the usual tube/nozzle but I have read of critters getting in through the big impeller grid slots on larger ones. Of course I had a small loach swim into the output of a Maxijet, had to put a piece of netting on it until they got too big.
