Hi,As i have had so many bad infestations of ich recently i have decided to set up a quarantine tank its only about 10 gallons
is this ok? at the moment i have a small Hippo tang and a cleaner wrasse in it that a friend gave me because his tank was
to small, how long should i quarantine them for? its run on an internal power filter and a heater
thanks for your help.

QT them until you see no more symptoms of Ich, then keep them QTed for another two to three weeks. You must kill ALL the parasites.

I have a 10 gal quarentine tank and that is fine. Just cant put too many in at one time. Make sure you treat it just like your main tank when it comes to maintenance. Yes dont take it out until you are sure it has no more symtoms.
