Rainbow Cichlid

I love baby fishies! How long will the parents tolerate the fry? I know my apistos were incredible parents until it was time to lay eggs again. Then they would turn on anything else in the tank. Is it similar?

Well this pair is in a tank to themselves the mother is a good parent but the dad is a dumb arse and is very food motivated and whenever i feed them he grabs the fry to as food.. They are still young though he will get it right one of these days..

My juvie Rainbow cichlids have finally gotten comfortable and bolder in their tank. Today I fed them pellets and they all came up and fed at the surface like a bunch of top minnows! Rainbows are voracious eaters btw.,

Yes they are i feed mine live Blackworms and frozen Bloodworms and they go nuts for them..
