Red Spot Nerite Snail

I believe I got one of these snails on a plant which is in the QT with some cardinal tetras. From the pics on the internet I am pretty sure that is the correct ID. Sounds like they are good snails to have. How large do they get? Can they interbreed with other species of snails? Like to hear your opinion of these guys.

Snails do not interbreed, but they can breed by themselves. Can we see some PICs of the snail?

if thats what you got they get to be about 1 inch and do not breed in freshwater.

This is not my snail. Mine seems to be camera shy, but he looks exactly like this and is not quite half and inch.

That picture is a Nerite Snail, and as Mgamer says it does not breed in FW. Also nice snail to have in tank==Good scavenger.
