My loaches are loving their new koralia powerhead:). They've been hanging around it all day since I added it.

I was going to get 2 pairs of the perc from msjinkzd but she ran out. Then Frank had some perc in stock but no gastromyzons so I bought the gastromyzon from another seller and am waiting until msjinkzd has some more or Frank has both atropurpureus and perc in stock. That should stock my hillstream tank:) if I decide not to upgrade to a bigger tank.

I rather get a 40B as I like the shape if I can't get a custom made tank done. The 33 is just too 'skinny'. Going to check out my feed store which sells fish supplies too as they usually have weird dimension tanks that are more to my liking. I am looking for a bigger width (14+"). That's why I don't want a 55 because it's too 'skinny' since I want to spread/stack the rocks and have enough space on the bottom for the loaches and other fishes to dig.

Hmm, those rhinogobius zhoui are tempting at $60 a pair too...

Yep from wetspot. It is pricey but I'm use to it as shipping to Ca from most places is in the $30 to $40 price which sucks. I'm sticking to the S. perc. though. I don't like tanks over 60 gallons. Don't know why. My mom keeps asking me why I don't ever have a big tank instead of smaller ones but I like the look of small tanks. Wow. A 125g will be a nice river tank:). At least you'll be able to grow algae in it unlike me.

My gastromyzons and sewellias

Gast.:

Sewellias; will probably add 4 or 5 more to my group on Wednesday:

Gast. and sewellia, fighting (the gast. are dominant over the sewellias):

Green algae is finally growing in this tank after I upgraded the light to 55 watts:)

Tank is stocked with 5 breeding sewellia lineolata (2 males, 2 females, 1 unknown) and 20+ RCS. Since taking the other stock out, the females have been hiding more lately since I added more rocks but the alpha male is out all the time. Tried to attack the camera while taking photos:).
