Rubber Nose Pleco's

Hello all I have had my rubber nose for mabey 1 month now and can see he is a feisty little sucker always eating and I dont think he has grown mm since I got him. Are they very slow grower? The one I have is around 1.25" and he is very healty, he just hasnt seem to have grown much.

What have you been feeding him? They do grow a little more slowly, but a steady diet of zuchini, wafers, and shrimp pellets can make sure he matures into a beautifull fish.

I have 2 commons in w/ him he tends to suck on the filter inlets where there is algae build up and the glass I feed my plecos zuchini, algae wafers, shrimp pellets all of which I ahve never seen him go for (but he may at night???) anyhow I have had him for a while and he is perfectly healty, so I am just wondering why he hasnt grown abit.
