I've heard of people using "black beauty" blasting sand but I'd say it gets mixed reviews. Some love it, others says too sharp for diggers. I've also read it may be oily so needs lots of rinsing & surface scum removal. Up to you...
sand for dojos

hopefully i will find something that i like. i do have a few months to figure it out.still looking at flourite sand ,caribsea instant aquarium sand.this tank will have some large swords in it.i am planning on getting the golden dojos,that is why i would like the darker contrasting sand.just worried about their soft bellies and barbels.
Do you have a Tractor Supply locally? Check there. I tried Flourite black sand & it was very fine, almost like dust.
