Sand substrate

Do I have to stir the sand under the rocks and driftwood? If it's necessary, how often do I need to stir the sand?

If your not stocking anything that will burrow into the sand, yes I'd stir it. I have snails, along with loaches that burrow under everything so I don't stir.

Yep...MTS would take care of it. I used to take a chopstick and poke and stir the sand in my little SW tank. It worked great.
