well I was mistaken, they aren't giant conches. They are giant whelks. I just added the shells to my tank and the fish are loving it. The mbunas and peacocks seem to be enjoying them more than the cylindricus though.

Again I would watch for this to turn into aggression over territories. The malawis might take these for their own and there would be nothing the cylindricus could do about it...
