Hello. My sister's computer is down. She called and asked me to come on for help. She has 2 new juvenile parrot fish. The tank is a 40 gal. WP's are a 0 n 0 nitra 5 ph 7.5. The other fish are a male and female gourami and 2 angelfish. Fake plants but lots of them. Driftwood.

She bought them yesterday morning. Woke up this a.m. to find them both near the base of a plant laying on their sides but breathing. What would cause this?

Please help her, she's crying. :(

well when i got my parrot i was freaking out alot becasue for about 3 days it was like yours and hiding. now year later and twic the size she the king of my 75 gallon with two 3 inch +- jack dempseys.
my advice is to leave the lights off and try not to make sudden movements to cause any additional stress, also maybe do a water change every other day.
