i have a 40g tank, 2/5 land 3/5 water, with flat rocks and driftwoods. i have 6 fire-belly newts, 4 guppys, 4 neon tetras, 4 super cherry shrimps. im thinking of adding 2 african dwarf frogs. are fb newts and adfs compatible?

Short answer: No.

In most cases it's a bad idea to mix herp species. Especially when it comes to amphibians.
