Rummynose tetras, and Harlequin rasboras are great schoolers. Cardinal tetras school but not a lot, IMO.

i have several schooling fish in my tank black skirt tetras, green fire tetras serpaes none school tight except the congo tetras and they arent that tight... to get a tight school they have to feel threatend...as long as there are no preditors in the tank i really dont think you will have a tight school

My rummynose & my silver dollars school very tightly all of the time. My ember and glolites don't school at all, but they have nothing to make them feel the need to in their tank. My Bosemani Rainbows also school pretty well.

Danios, definitely not. I have 12, and they don't even hang out in 2s, really. I just got some cardinals though, and so far they're very tight schoolers, which is good, that's what I wanted.

ETA: My cardinals are a very new addition, though. We'll see how they are in a few days.
