    Hi there,

I just purchased this cute little submersible filter for a small plastic .5g critter keeper type aquarium I keep my Red Cherry Shrimps and Snails in. I prefer this much more than the sponge filter. The flow rate is just about right for even the RCS fry not to get sucked in. I used the shower attachment to provide water to drop and create aeration. The only modification i did to it was replaced the carbon inside the carbon chamber with scuff pad cut to fit, in order to provide more bio media. As for the quality, the plastic parts could be a little more tighter fitting, but it will stay in place as long as you dont move it around. Now to put it to the real test - Reliability.

I purchased this from a LFS for 12.99 and believe that's a good value and
I hope this helps someone if they're looking for a micro submersible type filter.

Here is a link to one at an online retailer, as I did not find the product on the manufacturers website. http://www.petdiscounters.com/Dive-Clean-Micro-Submersible-Filter-p7418.html
