You carefully catch the lip of the bucket to the top edge of the tank, lift up the bottom of the bucket with one hand and pour the water on to your other hand that is in the tank.
I tried that method once. You forgot the last steps. "Get mop out of closet. Mop up 5 gallons of water. Repeat." :grinno:

For smaller tanks I use gallon milk jugs, 2 at a time, with Prime treated tap. I pretend it's all part of an upper body workout, lol, & less disruptive than pouring from a bucket. My Python has ruined my physique LOL (that & middle age).

HeHe. Hasn't happened to me.

Today I actually used a hose hooked to my sink and refilled that way. Much easier. I treated the water in the tank just when I started adding to it. Only thing I don't like with this method is having to dose for the whole volume of the tank instead of just dosing each bucket.

I used 16ml of Prime vs 6ml.
