No photo as it woulddo no good, I have ramshorns, ponds, bladders, MTS and what ever is in my shrimp tank is none of the above. These are like the size of 1/4 a pinhead or the size of a pencile point. Anyone know what they are? They don't seem to grow very quickly either.:22_yikes:

Without pics or better description I'm going with one of the two above posts, if they look like little bugs its some variety of FW pod, With your variety of snails you'll probably always have babies around making it seem like they never grow.

I'll try to get a photo tomorrow, but these are snails for sure. There are zero any bigger than 1/4 a pinhead. They don't seem to bother anything, but I want to know what they are. I have a lot of tanks with crayfish and they may end up food. At this point, it would take several hundred to enough even for my shrimp muchless the crayfish.

I don't think they can be Nerites as don't they need salt water to reproduce?

I have ramshorns, ponds, bladders and MTS reporducing in other tanks and these are different. They are not any of the above and I am stumped. Looks like everyone else is stumped as well. Looks like I'll have to try to magnify one and see if I can tell anything from there. I have not worked with assasin snails could that be it????

Do they have spiral shells? If so, possibly Gyraulus sp.

Another possibility could be a Limpet. But without pics, hard to say.
