Hi, My german blue ram recently developed a white growth/spot on his one eye. a few days later the spot had a red spot along with it as well. I keep my water very clean ( change ever week/every other week). However, this happened when we left our house from last wednesday to saturday when we were gone for thanksgiving. we keep our tank at 80 degrees
my tank is a 45G breeder with the following: 2 bolivian rams, this GBR, 10 Cardinal Tetras, 8 Espei rasboras, 3 cory cats, 2 adult Albino bristlenose plecos, 6 ABN fry

I don't have a QT tank, but the fish has been acting normally, eating normally and swimming normally. any advice on what i should do? Should he be euthanized so not to spread whatever he has to other tank mates? other tank mates are also doing fine.

Every week/every other week for water changes isn't going to do it for a gbr. I recently discovered this with my Bolivian. I recommend 2 small, say 25%, changes a week to ensure water quality.
