Doing an SA tank with Geo. Red Head Tapajos and a Sev or two and I want to do a rather large school of tetra but I know some aren't that great of schoolers. Of the large body Tetras (Congo, Columbian, Lemon, etc.) does anyone have suggestions?

Congo tetras are African; if you were planning a biotope, Red eye tetras, Serpae tetras, and Buenos Aries tetras should help. I'm not sure about the schooling habbits of the Buenos Aries but the other two are schoolers.

I have a school of Buenos Aries and they run from one end of the 55 to the other, and the barbs try and keep up, but they can't.

Penguin tetras could be a good choice if you're looking for tight schoolers that swim in the middle and upper waters.
